EFCATS proudly announces the 2023 Francois Gault Lectureship Award which is shared between two outstanding scientists, namely Dr. Francois Jerome and Professor Andrzej Kotarba in recognition of their seminal contributions to the field of heterogeneous catalysis.
The 2023 Francois Gault Lectureship Award is shared between two outstanding scientists, namely Dr. Francois Jerome and Professor Andrzej Kotarba in recognition of their seminal contributions to the field of heterogeneous catalysis.
The research of Dr. Jerome, who works as senior scientist at CNRS Laboratory in Poitiers in France, concentrates on understanding and controlling biobased chemistry and on upgrading of biosourced molecules.
Professor Kotarba is a full professor at the Faculty of Chemistry Jagiellonian University in Krakow and in his research focuses on correlations between composition-structure-morphology-performance in order to design real catalytic materials.
Both awardees are well known scientists in the field, authors of many impactful papers in peer-reviewed journals, as well as number of patents, as summarized in their bibliometric data. They are characterized by their commitment to communication to scientific and non-scientific audiences and are frequently invited to many international conferences as valued speakers.
